The homeowners had this beautiful stone fireplace in the center of their home but it lacked any kind of mantel.
They wanted a surround and mantel that could not only support their television, but also house some of the tv's electronic components and wiring.
Together we came up with a design and built this beautiful piece. It is constructed from Maple plywood and Poplar. The top opens like a toy chest to house the electronics and wiring, and the whole piece is painted in a lime wash paint to give it a unique texture and finish.
